SeABank is honored with many international awards

SeAbank is awarded “Best Customer Service Bank Vietnam 2013” and its Board of Directors Chairman Madam Nguyen Thi Nga is honored “Most Innovative Banking Chairperson Vietnam 2013” by Global Banking & Finance Review. Beside that, Mr Nguyen Tuan Cuong - Deputy General Director of SeABank is awarded “ASEAN CIO|CSO Awards” by IDG Asean.

Global Banking & Finance Review (GBAF) is known as a reputable finance forum in the United Kingdom. SeABank has been voted “Best Customer Service Bank Vietnam 2013” by GBAF thanks to its non-stop and outstanding efforts in providing comprehensive financial solutions to better serve customers. Moreover, SeABank is the sole bank to launch a modern and unique training centre following “School branch model” in Vietnam – the location where the Bank’s staff are trained transaction expertise with procedures and facilities as in a real branch. This is also the hub for transferring knowledge and skills to the all the Bank’s staff coming from different departments. Such well-organized training system provides significant contribution to customer service quality improvement at SeABank.

 

In addition, investment in information technology infrastructure is another important factor to enhance customer service quality. Currently, SeABank is setting up its own cloud based technology with numerous advanced applications serving the Bank’s entire operations, of which many are customer service oriented applications. Thanks to its endeavors in banking technology investment, in April 2013, SeABank was awarded “Best Cloud Based Project Vietnam 2013” by The Asian Banker.

 

Under the announcement by Global Banking & Finance Review, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga, Chairman of SeABank, is honored “Most Innovative Banking Chairperson Vietnam 2013” thanks to her striving and values contributed to a 19-year of development process of SeABank from a small commercial bank in Hai Phong to one of largest commercial joint stock banks in Vietnam in terms of charter capital, total assets, transaction network and brand awareness. At present, SeABank has a network of 155 branches and transaction points all over the country.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Cuong, Deputy General Director of SeABank is awarded “ASEAN CIO|CSO Awards”

An alliance including IDG Vietnam, IT organizations, associations and authorities from ASEAN countries has surveyed, voted and honored outstanding individuals in the region for their prominent contributions to IT application development in general socio-economic development.

 

As announced by IDG Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Cuong, Deputy General Director of SeABank has been awarded “ASEAN CIO|CSO Awards”. The award event shall be organized by IDG Vietnam on September 25, 2013 in Ho Chi Minh City. Thus, Vietnam has witnessed its IT leader who is on a level with regional and international IT leaders.

 

With 17 years of experience in IT management positions, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Cuong, currently Deputy General Director of SeABank – is implementing many projects in order to enhance the competitiveness of SeABank in terms of service quality within Vietnam’s banking system. By investing systematicallyand sustainably in IT infrastructure development for the operations of the Bank, SeABank has been positioned as one of IT leading banks which is acknowledged with many national and international awards, such as the only commercial bank among Top 5 Banks in IT Application voted by ICT Index, Best Cloud Based Project Vietnam 2013 granted by The Asian Banker.
