In the framework of ASEAN Women Entrepreneur Forum held by ASEAN Women Entrepreneur Network (AWEN) in Manila, Philippines), Ms Le Thu Thuy - Vice Standing Chairwoman of BOD of SeABank was awarded "ASEAN Women Entrepreneur”.
AWEN is an association belonging to ASEAN that was established to honor the outstanding achievements of women entrepreneur in economy amd to support challenges of finance, networking and training. This awarding ceremony is a meaningful activity to honor outstanding achievements of women entrepreneurs in socio - economic development of the country, region and the world. With her outstanding achievements in leading SeABank, Ms Le Thu Thuy - Vice Standing Chairwoman of BOD of SeABank was awarded “ASEAN Women Entrepreneur”.
Ms. Le Thu Thuy worked at SeABank since 2008. In the past years, Ms Thuy has made big imprints in the shift of the bank to the model of retail and modern bank. For example, Société Générale (France) became the strategic partner and support technically and strategy for the bank. Since 2010, SeABank has made a strong development from the brand identity, structure of operation model, strategy of customer development, human resources development, risk management and technological investment. She also the person who connected directly and developed successfully strategic partnership with big domestic corporates to create strong foundation of retail banking development of the bank.
With efforts and devotion to SeABank's development of SeABank in particular and in banking sector in general, Ms. Le Thu Thuy was granted many prestigious awards such as: “Most Active Banking Leader of the year 2016” and “Best Young Woman Banking Leader 2015” by International Finance Magazine (UK), “Best Young Banking Leader Vietnam 2014” by Golbal Banking & Finance Review, “Top 10 business women of the next generation” by Forbes, “Young Outstanding Business Women Vietnam 2014” by Vietnam Association of Young Businessmen.
Recently, on June 2017, Ms Le Thu Thuy was awarded “The Promising Young Banker inVietnam" by The Asian Banker (Singapore). This is award for exellent banking leader of Asia - Pacific and Middle East.
