Family background:

Nguyen Huy Thanh’s family is living in Thon Hoi, Co Bi, Gia Lam district, Hanoi. Her father died in 2007 when he is 1 month years old. Her mother is sick all the time. She has another brother studying 9^th grade. However, he decided to stop studying after 9^th grade to be train ocupationally to support his family. The family lives on income from rice field of his mother. There are no valuable furniture  in the house. His family is rated as poor by the Co Bi commune.
