The Southeast Asia Joint Stock Commercial Bank – SeABank has just honorably been voted and granted the international “ASEAN Typical Enterprise 2012”prize, which is jointly conducted by the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism - Lao PDR, Ministry of Industry and Commerce – Lao PDR, Vietnam Ministry of Planning and Investment, Vietnam Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnam – Cambodia Friendship Association, Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises; Vietnam Cooperative Alliance. SeABank is among 29 Vietnamese enterprises honored with this award.
The ASEAN Typical Enterprise award is initiated to recognize Asean businesses that make outstanding contribution to regional common prosperity, socio-economic development, friendship relationship and integration into the global economy. The award ceremony was held on July 28th 2012 in Laos.
The ASEAN Typical Enterprise 2012 prize is another recognition of SeABank’s sustainable growth and positive contributions to the socio-economic development in Vietnam as well as the Southeast Asia. Before receiving this award, SeABank had been granted a lot of prestigious international awards for excellent international payment service delivered by HSBC (from 2008 to 2010), Well Fargo (from 2008 to 2011), Citibank (from 2009 to 2011), “International Arch of Europe Award for Quality and Excellence ( IAE) by Business Initiative Directions – BID, etc. Especially, SeABank is the only bank in Vietnam and the Southeast Asia region to win the “Most Admired ASEAN Enterprises 2010” award (ASEAN-ABA 2010).
