Recently in Singapore, Ms. Le Thu Thuy - Vice Standing Chairwoman of BOD of SeABank was honorably granted the award of "The Promising Young Banker in Vietnam" by The Asian Banker (Singapore) for excellent leaders in banking and finance in Asia - Pacific and Middle East Region.
Previously, Ms. Le Thu Thuy was granted the two awards named "Most Active Banking Leader of the year" in 2015 and 2016 by International Finance Magazine (United Kingdom).
The Asian Banker headquartered in Singapore is a top financial - banking magazine in Asia. Founded in 1996, The Asian Banker supplies consultant information and analysis of top researchers for enteprises, banks and groups. Every year, The Asian Banker grants awards in honor of excellent financial - banking groups and leaders all over the world. The prestige of The Asian Banker's awards resulted from independent and transparent judgement procedure of leaders, researchers through interview with shortlist of candidates.
The Promising Young Banker Award was initiated by The Asian Banker in 2008 and repeated in 3 year round in order to honor excellent leaders under 40. This program follows the career development of the next generation of banking leaders in Asia - Paciffic and Middle East. In 2017, this is the fourth time this award has been held. In the previous years, The Asian Banker has granted this award to 38 young leaders from many banks such as: Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore), Bangkok Bank (Thailand), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (UAE), ANZ (Australia), HSBC, China Merchants Bank, DBS China, China Minsheng Bank (Hong Kong), Maybank, Citibank, ICICI Bank (India), Bank Danamon (Indonexia), Nikko Citigroup (Japan), Hana Bank Gold Club (Korea), Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (Malaysia), CIMB Islamic Bank (Malaysia), Security Bank (Philippines), DBS Bank (Singapore), UOB Group (Singapore), National Development Bank (Sri Lanka), Cathay United Bank (Taiwan), Siam Commercial Bank (Thailand),…
Possessing 2 diplomas of George Mason University (USA), for the past years in SeABank, Ms. Le Thu Thuy has made a big imprints on moving SeABank to the existing modern retail bank model. Especially, Société Générale (France) has been one of the strategic shareholder and support technically to develop SeABank's strategy of retail bank. Since 2010, SeABank has made a strong innovation in brand identity, organization structure, customer develoment orientation, human resources development, risk management, technology investment. Ms. Le Thu Thuy is the key person to link and develop strategic cooperation with big domestic enterprises and group to develop retail banking of the bank.
With her efforts and contribution to SeABank's development in particular and the banking sector in general, Ms. Le Thu Thuy has been awarded by many domesstical and international organizations such as: “The Most Active Banking Leader of the year 2016” and “Best Young Women Banking Leader 2015” of International Finance Magazine (UK), “Best Young Banking Leader Vietnam 2014" of Global Banking & Finance Review, “Top 10 Young Businessman of next generation” of Forbes Magazine.
