On 7th March, 2015, within the agenda of ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Forum (AWEF) in Hanoi, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga – Chairman of Southeast Asia Commercial Joint-stock Bank (SeABank), Chairman of BRG Group has been honored as “ASEAN Outstanding Women Entrepreneur” by ASEAN Women Entrepreneur Network (AWEN)
Previously, Madame Nga has also been honored as National Winner - Best Business Women Leader and Most Admired ASEAN Enterprise Women Leader, a category of the ASEAN Business Awards 2014 by ASEAN Business Advisory Council (BAC).
The 2015 ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Forum (AWEF), titled “ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs in AEC: Transforming Opportunities into Realities” and “Recognizing Ceremony of ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs” is held in Hanoi from 6th to 7th March, 2015 with the participation leaders of the Party and Government, representatives from Ministries, Embassies, AWEN of ASEAN countries, ASEAN Secretariat, international organizations, business associations and nearly 200 ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs.
The Ceremony honoring Outstanding ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs is a meaningful activity to recognize tremendous contributions by Women Entrepreneurs to the social and economic development of the country and to the region and the world as a whole.
Madame Nguyen Thi Nga is an outstanding Woman Entrepreneur of Vietnam and is currently leader of various leading enterprises in banking, finance, real estate, sport, tourism, hospitality and retail. The most prominent ones among them are SeABank and BRG Group. Madame Nga is also appointed by Prime Minister as one of 03 Vietnamese members of ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC), Chairman of ASEAN ABA Award 2010... with important contributions to ASEAN business community.
Madame Nguyen Thi Nga is also named by Forbes – a magazine famous for its list of the most successful and powerful people, in the Top 50’s powerful Women Entrepreneurs in Asia 2014, and awarded by Global Banking & Finance Review (GBAF) – a prestigious online forum in Britain, as “The most dynamic leader in Vietnam 2013”. In October 2014, on the 60th Anniversary of Hanoi Liberation day, Madame Nguyen Thi Nga was awarded “The Capital’s Elite Citizen 2014” to recognize her significant achievements and contributions, especially to Hanoi and the Country. In 2012, Madame Nga was honored the Third Grade Labor Order by the Country’s President and many more other precious awards. Recently, Madame Nga has been appointed as Vice Chairman of Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs.
